Acknowledgements

We would like to thank our community and academic partners for their continued support. Withouth them, Super Giant Community Garden would not be possible.

Emory CFCP has given Urban Health Initiative the opportunity to build the Northwest Atlanta community. Our garden helps to drive their initiative to promote service, scholarship, and learning activities for Emory students.

An endowment from the Coca Cola Foundation has allowed for CFCP to create Sustainable Partnerships for Atlanta Neighborhoods (SPAN).  Super Giant Community Garden (SGCG) recieved SPAN funding to promote CFCP's mission.   SPAN funding brings Emory student volunteers to our garden on a weekly basis. It also designates funding for a student intern.  SPAN funding also allows Emory students the opportunity for community-based coursework relating to SGCG.

Home Depot

We would like to acknowledge Home Depot, who have generously donated supplies to SGCG. This effort has supported the prompt opening of our garden.

Super Giant Foods

Sam Goswami, the owner of this supermarket, has generously donated his space to Urban Health Initiative. Our garden will  contribute to his vision for a Healthy Hub located in Super Giant Plaza.

Reclaim It ATL

So thankful for Reclaim It Atlanta for turning our garden into a community space by  providing chairs, tables and other items for our community garden! Reclaim it Atlanta is a great place to buy building supplies at a very low cost.  They also take donations of used furniture which they give to people in need.
